Kings River Bluegrass Camp ‘n Jam

Date: May 30 – June 1, 2025
Location: 14265 E. Goodfellow Ave, Sanger, CA 93657 (Hobb’s Grove)

Join us for a weekend of bluegrass music and community at the Kings River Bluegrass Camp ‘n Jam hosted by Hobb’s Grove!

Please REGISTER HERE if you plan to secure a camp site and/or pay for your entry in advance.

You may also pay for sites and entry when you arrive.

Arrive and set-up anytine after 12:00 noon Friday.

Depart before 2:00 pm Sunday.

Admission & Wristbands

• Entry Fee: $10 per person age 16 and older for a couple of hours or the full weekend. 15 and under are free.
• Wristbands will be provided upon arrival (in the midway) for entry and re-entry throughout the weekend.

• Payment Methods. Secure your spot with one of the following:

Open Mic ‘n stuff in the Shady Midway

The “schedule” is fluid since the event is a bit Woodstock like.

The stage and Open Mic will be ready Friday evening for those who want to give it a go.

On Saturday the Shady Midway will host Open Mic time with a dedicated stage, top-notch sound, and audience seating area. Time to be determined. Bring your chair or bring your instrument and share your talent with fellow bluegrass enthusiasts! We provide seating as well.

There will be some Gospel tunes shared Sunday morning.

Otherwise, Jamming and hanging out will manifest itself.

A beginners workshop may pop up… and it may not, but bring your guitars.

Camping Details (dry)

• Cost: $15 for 1 night or $25 for 2 nights per site.
• Capacity: Each site accommodates 2 vehicles or 1 large motorhome/trailer. You are not required to detach from your trailer.
• No hook-ups. We will have hoses with nozzles strewn about for all to use with good well water for drinking and putting out fires. Free firewood will be available available for those who want a small campfire.

Restrooms

There are 4 or 5 very nice “real” restrooms for all to use in the midway as well as some port-a-pots in the camping area. There may be a shower available as well.

Food & Drinks

• We will have Food and Drinks available for purchase throughout the weekend. So far there will be freshly made sandwiches and morning breakfast burritos. Possibly a taco vendor in Saturday evening.
• Snowie Shaved Ice will be here full time.
• We will have ice for sale as well. 7 lb bag for $3 and 20 lb bag for $6.
• You are welcome to bring your own food and ice chests. You may bring your own drinks and food into the midway also.

Ways to stay cool!

• We have a 30 x 30 ft Air Conditioned room with tables, chairs, sofas and a baby grand piano for those who need to retreat from the heat.
• We will be turning one of the midway fire pits into a wading pool, perfect for sitting around and jammin’.
• We will have a really nice cooler going for those playing on stage.
• We also hope to have roving or stationary cool (hot) tubs in the camping area. You’ll just have to see ’em to get the concept.
• We will have a couple sprinklers going in the camping area to run through.
• So bring your bathing suits or soakin’ cloths!
